| Hospice Africa Ireland Dublin-Galway Cycle Challenge 2010 |

Challenge yourself to a cycle that matters! Following the huge success of our inaugural Dublin-Galway Cycle in October 2009, dates for our 2010 cycle have been confirmed for 19 and 20 June 2010. Join Hospice Africa Ireland on our fun 2-day cycle from Dublin to Galway to raise much needed funds for palliative care services for people in Uganda living with HIV/AIDS and/or cancer.
This charity cycle will take place during National Bike Week 2010, which is promoted by the Department of Transport as part of its “Smarter Travel” intitiative and the national cycling promotion policy framework. To sign up for this event, a completed registration form and deposit must be submitted to Hospice Africa Ireland by 3o April 2010.
The sponsorship requirement for the cycle is a minimum of €500. All proceeds will go directly to the adults’ palliative care programme in Hospice Africa Uganda.

African Themed Night – 25 March 2010
KPMG employees are hosting a fun night of authentic African food and entertainment, in aid of three hospices in Kampala, Hoima and Mbarara in Uganda.
Boston City Marathon – 14 April 2010
Peter Walsh does it again for HAI as he takes part in the 114th Boston City Marathon. Peter has “two down, two to go” on his challenge of completing the “Big 4” in one year for Hospice Africa Ireland.
Flora Women’s Dublin City Mini Marathon – 7 June 2010
Join Hospice Africa Ireland, and help raise funds for hospice care in Uganda by taking part in the annual Flora Women’s Dublin City Mini Marathon, which is a great achievement for all who decide to walk, jog or run on the day
New York City Marathon – 7 November 7 2010
Peter Walsh runs for gold in his last marathon in aid of Hospice Africa Ireland, and completes his goal of the “Big 4” … we will all be cheering him on. John Gaskin joins him in his challenge as he takes on this iconic marathon, in aid of palliative care hospices in Africa.

Join up now for our exiting Uganda 2011 trek
Supporters of HAI will travel to Uganda in July 2011 to see first-hand the great work that Hospice Africa Uganda does in each of its three hospices in Kampala, Mbarara and Hoima, and meet the inspirational people who work every day in these hospices to make a difference to the lives of their patients.
