Hospice Africa Ireland’s AGM 2008
Hospice Africa Ireland held its AGM on 22 June 2008 at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin. Our Lady’s Hospice is very kindly supporting and encouraging Hospice Africa Ireland with the establishment of its first Irish office, which was opened in May 2008. Angela Cooney, Fundraising Manager of Hospice Africa Ireland (second from left, front row) will be responsible for setting up HAI’s support and fundraising office at Our Lady’s Hospice and raising awareness of the role and activities of Hospice Africa Uganda, which was set up in 1993 to provide palliative care to people who are terminally ill with HIV/AIDS or cancer.
